So I guess I didn't actually /win/ the district art show, but that's because Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (my dream school) chose me to recieve their $8,000 scholarship for the excellence of my art portfolio. SO that means that out of the hundreds upon hundreds of people who applied to that art school, they liked my portfolio the most. Holy crap! =O I felt so nervous at the awards ceremony, because the lady announced that I had won three scholarships from them, the most that anyone this year has reeled in, and that the competition was very fierce. I'm not good with compliments! It was the first real award I ever recieved, and I recieved a deafening applause. It was so nice, finally getting some kind of award, because grades and school have never really been my thing.

Another update: I'M OFFICIALLY GOING TO RMCAD! I've got about $20,000 in scholarships from them so my parents can afford to send me, and I can afford to pay off the student loans. I'm still trying for more scholarships of course, but for now at least I can go.

There is also more artwork in the works right now, particularly werewolf stuff (SHOCKER, right?) but I'll be sure to put it up when I'm finished.

**UPDATE: Today in the mail I JUST received a $14,000 merit scholarship from RMCAD as well, which makes the total scholarship money $24,000, almost a whole year of tuition! I'm freaking stoked!
